Theo Marinis
As a Senior Financial Strategist with Marinis Financial Group, Theo specialises in Superannuation, Taxation and Retirement Lifestyle Planning. Theo is an authorised representative of Financial Strategies (SA) Pty Ltd, Australian Financial Services License No. 326403.
Theo has previously been employed by the Australian Taxation Office (ATO) as a Superannuation Adviser, the Insurance and Superannuation Commission (ISC) as an Adviser with further experience with the Department of Social Security as a Financial Information Service (FIS) Officer.
These placements enabled Theo to develop an exceptional technical knowledge which has further enhanced his unique experience in superanuation and retirement matters.
Theo consequently was appointed as a Financial Adviser and the Technical Service Manager with the State Government Insurance Commission (SGIC) Financial Services Division.
Later Theo was offered and accepted a position with Zurich Australia Limited as their Retirement and Technical Services Consultant for South Australia.
Theo regularly provides consultancy for other industry advisers who seek strategies for their clients in Taxation, Superannuation, Retirement and Social Security matters.
Highly qualified in financial matters, Theo holds Bachelor Degrees with majors in both Economics and Accounting from the University of Adelaide.
He is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ (CFP®) and a Certified Practising Accountant (CPA).
Theo prides himself on his ability to demystify complex financial matters by presenting innovative retirement income and lifestyle financial strategies that assist clients to achieve their lifestyle and retirement needs.
Theo lives at Prospect with his wife Julie and their two daughters Sofia and Zoe.
